This has the elements of a typical teen movie, it is set in a high school & also a musical as they tell the story mostly through song & also as the title suggests.

SCREAM is another example of a subgenre of a teen film - it is a horror teen drama, the title suggests this and it also has a lot of suspense, within the first scene we wonder who is calling as seen above.
