What is it about?
Fruitvale station is a true story based on the events which took place when a black man named Oscar Grant was killed by a number of police officers at fruitvale station
I love this movie - but in particular the opening grabbed my attention. It starts off with a voiceover of a conversation between two people on a black screen followed by a real video clip of what happened on the actual day of the killing. I thought this was quite interesting because you got to see what happened from a eye witness point of view and it just enhances the fact it is not staged and it is in fact based on a true story.
