Purpose of title sequence
The purpose of a title sequence is to allow the introduction to start of the film or program it usually includes credits the main production crew, actors/actress, director and writer. The title sequence creates opportunities for the distribution and production company to get their brand/name more well known in the film industry through the films.There are many methods that producers choose to present their credits toward their target audience. However the most chosen style of introducing the film title sequence is by combining background soundtrack that sets the atmosphere of the film also including the a short brief clips of certain things in the film to give us a glimpse or taster about what the film is based on. The title sequence is one of the first things that any viewer/audience will see so it has to make first impression and impact on the viewer to draw them towards the film.
