Evaluation Question 5.

Text spoken within voice note

The film title sequence of our film was to appeal to our target audience we wanted the film to look professional however we still wanted to keep it urban and chic.
The sub-genre is youth drama it is set in the London in borough called Camden.

The film name is ‘Garage 32b’ the story line is girl who trades money for a key and it lead to a garage however we don’t know what is contain in the garage but there is a guy who chases her for the key because he knows what inside the garage. In the end we’re left on cliff-hanger not knowing what the garage is hiding.

Cinematography we used establishing shots to set the location and close-up of scenes to show facial expression or key things. There were many more shots that gave many different effects too.

The main prop was the key with a tag saying ‘garage 32b’ to show the significant of this prop we made it the prime object to try and retrieve.

The outfit for the male was hoodie/tracksuit to give him a taunting vibe and suspicious but for the girl we went for different approach with a school uniform to make her seem innocent.

Editing we went for quick transitions such as fade in and out to make it seem in a hurry to get away to give effect of running.

We wanted fast pace music to go with the running to make it feel very tense and make the audience be on their feet while the chasing occurs.

Considering rough cut we decided to re-film certain scenes as some of the actors were laughing or smiling the scene when they were supposed to be serious. Audience feedback was much more positive as they said it looked more realistic without the laughter.

So far the film has been published on website such as vimeo and youtube but also promoted through twitter while in production. We have only been able to preview the film at cinema for students within the Candi Media.

The film has also attracted other people out of target audience such as adults these are parents and teachers who have also found it entertain as they believe they have seen this sort of behavior or experienced it.
