The Pursuit...
Our inital ideas for our film opening were that we wanted to create a youth drama, including a chase scene and elements of crime. We thought these themes would appeal to our audiene as our opening will be fast paced with action that will hopefully entertain our audience.
We decided to call our film 'The Pursuit' which will fit in with our ideas for the whole film if we were to make it. It would be about a young teenage girl who has managed to get herself involved with the wrong crowd and crime. The idea of pursuit is to pursue something or someone and she will be trying to find her way in life and get herself sorted. It will include fast paced scenes where they may be action and crime, but there will aslo be slower paced scenes where there may be more emotive and 'moving scenes'.
We thought it would be a good idea to film a chase scene with two main characters, a young girl and an older male. This would show the different age ranges and how the young girl has been caught up with this older guy. There will be some sort of dodgy exchange with a guy to where she then sees the main male character who starts to chase her. There will be lots of shots emphasise the fast pace and there will also be fast paced music to match this.
